1992 is my favorite Rumble match ever. Half of the talent in that roster are or will be in the Hall of Fame in the future. It was booked to perfection, and the story it told was great. Here’s Ric Flair, still considered an NWA/WCW guy in the WWF, going damn near one hour working with all the major talent the company had to offer and surviving it all. To me, this was Ric Flair’s greatest performance as he made the Rumble that much more interesting. It didn’t hurt matters that Monsoon and Heenan were a riot on commentary and enhanced the onscreen product that much more. There have been a lot of good to great Rumbles over the years, but this was the best Rumble ever produced by the WWF/E.
