Wrestlemania #26: Best Exit Ever?

Short question: is Shawn’s final match the best ending to an in ring career ever?If there’s a better one I can’t think of it.  He went out having a classic in the main event of Wrestlemania with some awesome storytelling involved.  I can’t think of a better way to go out.

I THINK SHAWN AND TAKER WAS BEST MATCH OF THE SHOW IN PHOENIX AND THEY SHOULD BEEN IN THE MAIN EVENT IF U ASK ME MANIA 26 HAD SOME INTERESTING MOMENTS AT TIMES BUT I THINK HBK TAKER SHOULD BEEN THE MATCH THAT CLOSED THE SHOW IN THE MAIN EVENT IF U ASK ME IT WAS A GREAT MATCH AND IT IS A SHAME IT DID NOT GET THE MAIN EVENT SLOT IT SO DESERVED HERE!!!!!!!!!

Shawn’s final match @ Mania 26 is the greatest exit ever I think. That match was great, although Matt Striker’s commentary almost ruined it for me.

Would you say Flairs would have been better if he didn’t return to wrestle again?

Maybe, but the difference for me is that Shawn was still at a top level. Flair had been past his prime for years.

Agreed. I can’t remember any one getting a better exit either. It was nothing short of a story book ending to a great career. This is one of the reasons I like the second WrestleMania match between the two more than the one at WrestleMania 25. There was so much more emotion behind this going into it, and the ending of the match was perfect with Shawn slapping WWE’s personification of death. It was a fitting end to his career.
