Favorite Return

With Brock’s return last Monday, I figured this would be a good topic. Read the title. What’s yours’?I have to go with Undertaker at Judgment Day 2000.  It came out of nowhere and he had been gone just long enough that you had forgotten he was gone but he wasn’t completely forgotten yet.  The fact that it was the ending to a great match helps too.

Hulk Hogan’s return in 2002, got massive cheers and chants during every show of his comeback, even when he wasn’t on.

I’m going to go with Ric Flair’s return in 2001. While the whole Flair as co-owner bit didn’t work out as well as everyone hoped, Flair being back in the WWF was an awesome sight. And I’ll never forget the moment where Flair told Vince he owned half the company. Vince looked like he was about to have a heart attack knowing Flair was his “partner” in the company. Vince was always a master of facial expressions, and this one told a thousand words.

Cena’s return at the Royal Rumble 2008. I was sitting through my first rumble anticipating who would be number 30 and needless to say when Cena’s music hit I was shocked.

When Dwayne Gill returned as Gillberg at the 1998 Survivor Series. Shocking. Jaw dropping. Riveting.

Actually he wasn’t Gillberg yet. I think that came later.
