Thought of the Day: Cena vs. Rock II and The Comedy Of The Internet

So apparently, Rock vs. Cena II is happening at Wrestlemania 29.  Naturally the general consensus is that this is a horrible idea and Punk HAS TO save it.  Let’s get this over with.1. John Cena vs. The Rock I was the biggest drawing match of all time.  It makes good business sense to try it again.

2. John Cena vs. The Rock has happened ONE TIME.  The way people are talking, you would think it was Sheamus vs. Ziggler or something that happens once a week.  It’s their second match ever, not their 19th.

3. The first match was pretty good to great.  My guess is the rematch will also produce an excellent match.

4. Punk has been defeated.  From a storytelling perspective, it makes little sense to include him.

5. Triple threats suck anyway.

Rock V Punk has run it’s course for now. Personally I’d like to see Cena v Taker and Rock v Brock and HHH v CM. I’d also probably prefer to watch Punk v Cena than Rock v Cena. Who knows eh? All I do know is that adding Punk into Rock v Cena achieves nothing for anyone

Im one of the few who doesn’t mind Rock/Cena Part 2 this year. Like KB said IT DRAWS and because I think they will deliver another good Match. I like CM Punk too but he doesn’t need to be involved in it since he has lost twice.

I think the reason for the despair for the Roxk vs Cena 2 is mainly because the outcome of the match is so telegraphed. ..

^ Those are actually two of my favorite triple threat matches of all time. But generally, the threeways do suck.

Punk is simply the internet darling, of course they want him included. Proving once again how foolish the majority of the IWC are.

Some people just don’t want to see it. I never agree with the people that hate the idea so much that they have explain why it’s a bad idea. It’s not a bad idea, I’m sure it will make a lot of money.

I Personally don’t want to see it. It has more to do with the fact that I didn’t really care for the first match, and I think some younger guys could do with that exposure. Also Cena being champion doesn’t appeal to me, Rather than rage I just choose not to watch. Instead I’ll wait until something that pipes my interest comes along.

” Triple threats suck anyway.” Benoit, HBK, Triple H, and Rock, Angle, Undertaker, Were great Triple Threat matches.

“John Cena vs. The Rock I was the biggest drawing match of all time. It makes good business sense to try it again.”

The amount of money the match made isn’t going to matter to the people who hate it. They either 1. Hate Cena. Or 2. Want something new.

      1. That makes two good triple threats out of…..about 8000? For every one of those, there are about 4000 where it’s lazy booking and there to shift the title without the champion being pinned.

      2. Those are the people I’m here to help.

Well as far as the ones who hate cena, good luck as it will take a lot of effort. as for those who want something new they don’t really need help they just want the new “guy” to take over.
