I absolutely thought this would not happen. I thought it was just something made up by people being desperate for him to be in the title match. I feel a bit silly now.

With that said, this is going to be an awesome Mania and Bryan winning will be great.

I cannot be more happy about this and KB I am jealous you will be there to see Bryan’s moment in the sun. I may end up crying if/when he wins the WWE Title at the Biggest WM of all time.

I want to see this show now. Assuming HHH does the job at all in WM30, which I think he will, unless he wants any respect for him to DIE for good.

I’m one of the biggest HHH critics you’ll find and even I have never once believed he’s going over Bryan. That’s out there in some fantasy world.

      • Heyo says:

Yeah, the booking is definetly pointing at Bryan at least getting a title shot.

It’s sad that HHH is so notoriously bad backstage, because i think he’s actually a talented wrestler with a few great matches under his belt(his WM17 and 28 matches with Taker spring to mind).

What do you think of the idea that WM30 looks like it’s becoming a hybrid of WM10(main event player having two matches in one night) and WM14(everyone knows a certain guy is going to win the title)?

        • Thomas Hall says:

I can more than live with it, but I’m not a good person to ask since I’ll be there. I’ve been chomping at the bit for the show to be here since I decided I was going on Wrestlemania Sunday last year.

That’s about where I see him too.

Cue the fans telling me that seeing him as a six or seven time world champion and one of the best ever isn’t enough.

    • Killjoy says:

Personally, after that amazing promo and if he does win both matches, he’s a made man for years to come. He’ll basically slay Evolution in one night. Cena may still have years to come in his own career, but there’s no denying that after 9 years straight, it get exhausting. WWE caught lighting in the hand with Bryan. At the very least, I see him carrying a year or two of WWE TV.

      • Thomas Hall says:

There’s no way they can’t give him a shot. I’m not saying it’ll work, but he’s earned that chance.

      • ted says:

Interesting to hear you say as you have noted that you did not believe he could be the “guy”.

        🙂

It was a great moment no question.

        • Thomas Hall says:

There’s a big difference between being The Guy and being a long reigning champion. As long as Cena is around, no one else is getting his spot, no matter how hot they are.

I’m very happy to see this happen, I look forward to Mania and while it will be predictable, doesn’t mean it won’t be a fantastic moment.

Unless your not a fan of Daniel Bryan lol

    • M.R. says:

Can’t please everybody. He’s the most over guy in the company, it’s the right move.

      • Thomas Hall says:

I don’t know how long Bryan is going to last on top, but there’s no other option in the main event at this point.

        • M.R. says:

I see him in a Jericho role for much of his career, floating in and out of the main event scene but never allowed to be the guy.

        • zappa says:

I’m not so sure I mean he theoretically. He can beat the top 3 guys and win the belt at wrestlemania. If he wins he will be skyrocketed as the guy. If it doesn’t work out the bryan apologist will not have any excuses left.

  7. M.R. says:

I’m pretty shocked, NEVER thought Trips would allow his match to be just a stepping stone. Beating Triple H, Orton, and Batista all on the same night at Wrestlemania would be huge. Punk must be green as can be right about now.

  8. Dragon says:

The ending of WrestleMania 30 is now as predictable and obvious as Mania 14 and Mania 7. Although you are right KB it was an awesome moment.
