The opposite. Their apology was stupid and underhanded.
I had no issue with Zeb mimicking the Tea Party. But the Hassan storyline started getting out of hand with guys in ski masks and piano wires. Bombings or not, WWE was pushing on the violent behavior with Hassan.
As for the Lana promo, its like WWE just wanted to push buttons. PG, losing money, having investors to keep happy. All they had to do was avoid mentioning anything about it. But nah, lets reference a terrorist act. Then their apology was even stupider by saying Lana and Rusev are characters. Which just makes things worse for WWE because, well who wrote the lines for the character? A WWE employee obviously.
Just a totally stupid issue that couldve been avoided by just ignoring it.
