It was also not even necessary. There was nothing to apologize for.

“I had no issue with Zeb mimicking the Tea Party. But the Hassan storyline started getting out of hand with guys in ski masks and piano wires. Bombings or not, WWE was pushing on the violent behavior with Hassan. ”

    So?

It’s supposed to be a sport. Who brings an organization of masked men meant to evoke the appearance of a militant group to a sport?

  3. ted says:

Exactly. There was no reason for an apology.

As for the Lana promo, its like WWE just wanted to push buttons. PG, losing money, having investors to keep happy. All they had to do was avoid mentioning anything about it. But nah, lets reference a terrorist act. Then their apology was even stupider by saying Lana and Rusev are characters. Which just makes things worse for WWE because, well who wrote the lines for the character? A WWE employee obviously.

Just a totally stupid issue that couldve been avoided by just ignoring it.
