Alberto Del Rio Released

According to WWE.com it was due to an altercation with an employee and unprofessional conduct.  This sounds like something where more details will come out later.

I can’t say I’m complaining as he hasn’t meant anything like forever, so I’m not the most annoyed, though I always liked his in ring work. If nothing else, this cuts down even more salary.

I would disagree that he did nothing for anyone. I thought he carried Smackdown in the last year or so of the Brand Era. He was still a good hand to have even if he wasn’t doing much. Still a dumb move on his part and I guess the next TNA Champion (if they survive when his 90 days expires).

Ryback should have gotten his spot. Then he could have won the title and not fall like he did.

Plus he was so freaking boring. His matches were great. However there are a lot of guys who can have great matches and who could have easily taken his spot (Cesaro for instance, as KB kept saying). He didn’t carry Smackdown, he dragged everything down that he was involved with.

    Wooooo

This worthless heatsink is gone. He was useless and did nothing for anyone throughout his run in the company.

Haha…. I check this out and the random review I get is “Wrestler of the Day – February 22: Alberto Del Rio”. Too funny and coincidental.

Ever see the Sin Cara Botchamania video? It points out just how much a prick Alberto is by blatantly disobeying officials and him attacking an injured Sin Cara.

I think there was real life blood between the two based on something I read. 0% sure if that’s true or not though.

      • Fallout says:

There was something about a guy in Sin Cara’s gang of friends holding a gun to ADR’s head, or something around those lines.

Painfully boring, I’m fine with this.
