Great Khali Possibly Released
He’s now on the alumni page of WWE.com. If true, this isn’t the biggest shock in the world. He hasn’t done anything of note in years and is just there for someone to beat in a “surprise”. I still don’t get people who say he’s the worst in the world. Yeah he’s big and slow, but what else are you expecting from someone like him? Why would he do anything but use power moves and big man offense?
On a side note, am I the only one that thought the Punjabi Prison structure looked completely badass?
Not at all. That match was as over complicated as you could ask for but man it looked awesome.
Name 5 people who are worse? I can only think of two Gonzalez and Kevin Nash but that one is a huge personal bias.
Gonzalez, pick about 15 Divas, Eli Cottonwood, Sandman, Axl Rotten, Public Enemy, New Jack, I could go on.
I’d certainly argue that he was completely worthless. He’s awful for sure but not as bad as he’s made out to be.
I never said he was completely worthless. His size and Indian appeal alone were worthy of his time with the company. But he also happens to be complete shit.
“He could have a decent match with the right opponent” is such a silly defense. The same could be said for literally anyone.
Not really. Most people can have a decent match with the right or wrong opponent. Some can’t have a decent match if their life depends on it.
Khali’s best match was against Triple H, name someone Triple H couldn’t pull a decent match out of?

He may not be the very worst. That may go to giant Gonzales. But he certainly is one of the worst ever. Are you going to miss him? Watch a khali week on the network? Perhaps buy a khali dvd?

Two passable matches does not prove he’s a good wrestler. What about the hundreds of matches that sucked? He just wasn’t very good.

Competence? the complaint isn’t him not doing 450 splashes. He just wasn’t good at much of anything inside the ring. I wish him well in whatever he chooses to do with his life. But he was a terrible wrestler.
He could put on a decent match with the right opponent. His stuff with HHH and Cena showed that.
Triple H got a good match out of him at Summerslam one year, I think Batista did once too.
