Brock Lesnar Re-Signs With WWE, Ends MMA Career

He officially announced this on Sportscenter.  No word on how long the contract is for but he’s sticking with WWE.

I can’t say I blame him.  As he said, what else does he have to prove in MMA?  He was the undisputed World Champion and retired with a winning record.  WWE is easier on him and he makes good money.  What’s not to like?

I still like Reigns as a long term main eventer, he just needs to be presented differently.

Exactly. Brock re-signing may be the best thing to happen to Reigns. He should lose a hard fought match Sunday… and then they can start the slow process of rebuilding him without the pressure of being the “chosen” champion that no one wants right now.

I’m hoping that Bray beats Taker Sunday… and calls out Brock on Monday. He can claim he finished the job that Brock started last year at WM and now he wants the Beast. Heyman counters that Brock took Taker’s “soul” last year by ending the Streak and all Bray did was beat a shell of the Taker.

My only hesitation w/ this “program” is it seems disrespectful to Taker’s WM legacy. Not sure the E would go for that.

I was glad to hear this and I had thought he would stick around. It does add intrigue to the Match and ive been thinking for a week or so now that he will retain his Title.

Hooray now we can admit the Reigns experiment is a failure and scrap it for now . Hopefully we go in a better direction.

Does this change the outcome in his match with Reignsthis Sunday?

It certainly adds more intrigue. I’ve actually changed to thinking Lesnar wins for about a week now so for me, no it doesn’t change the ending.

Makes the main event more interesting. It’d be nice if this deal includes a bit more appearences.
