TNA Taping Impact Before Slammiversary

As mentioned on Impact last night.  So, they’re actually going to spoil their first pay per view in eight months and still expect people to pay the full price for it?  There was no way they could tape at ANY OTHER TIME?  Or like, air a recap show and then tape after it?

These are the sort of things where you just have to shake your head at this company.  They start putting together a good show and then “oh yeah we’re going to spoil it by taping a month and a half in advance.”  It worked SO well for WCW back in the day too.

Take a guess who forced that little mishap.

You bring up when WCW did it for Saturday Night back in the mid 90s. Taping a few episodes before the next PPV. The difference there is that WCW didn’t have to worry too much about Results getting out. Today though yes it is stupid to Tape a bunch of TV before a PPV rendering it useless. Seeing as how there are Wrestling News sites everywhere you look.

I think the last TNA PPV I watched was BFG 2013 when AJ Styles won the World Title from Bully Ray. I didn’t bother with any of the ones from last year because they gave me no reason to care about them.
