This sounds like a booking problem than a wrestler problem, which is something that’s plaguing WWE right now.

By the way, what were your thoughts on Scott Keith’s epic rant on HHH’s conference call on NXT?

That he’s absolutely right. I’ve been watching this company for a LONG time and I can barely remember it being this out there. I have no idea what they’re trying to do right now but it really feels like they’ve thrown their feet on the desk and said “screw it, we’re taking the rest of the year off.”

There’s a MAJOR disconnect between NXT, where it’s an off week if the show is just good and WWE where a good show is a minor miracle. Something like 80% of the roster is just out there in limbo and they happened to pick Sheamus to make World Champion. Reigns is treated like a god and he can only get the title for five minutes because WE HAVE TO USE MONEY IN THE BANK!

I don’t know if it’s too many writers, a bad philosophy or just trying to hold the fort until Cena and Lesnar get back, but this is turning into a major disaster in a hurry and one or two Band-Aids over the problems aren’t going to fix it. They need some big changes and waiting “until we have a place for him” for Balor isn’t it. People like Balor and Owens and Zayn needed to be on the main roster a year ago instead of just sitting around in NXT while Kane and Sheamus are getting World Title programs.

Maybe it’s HHH vs. Vince/Dunn, but they need to figure this out and fast.

I absolutely disagree with Scott Keith that NXT has failed at it’s job–from what I’ve seen, the wrestlers all come out more polished and defined than they were at their debut. No, I blame their main roster treatment on the WWE booking team, nobody else. Especially with the rumors that Kevin Dunn is burying NXT talent just to mess with HHH.

That said, I can’t disagree with anything else.
