I did find it interesting that they mentioned the title match on last night’s show but this is a big surprise. If nothing else it frees Balor up to do other things. Like debut at Payback.
Them mentioning the title match on Lowell caught my ear too but i just thought it was to bump last minute tickets. Clever bastards.
At Payback, AJ’s gonna lose because od a Anderson & Gallows interference.

Very surprising but I think Finn is debuting at Payback.
They didn’t do the title change at Takeover because they want to bill Finn as the longest reigning NXT champ.
If he doesn’t debut at Payback imma be PISSED!
I sure hope he’s not called up that soon. I paid to go see a house show and he’s billed for it. Oh well, at least Joe and Bayley(also announced for the show) will still be there…I hope.
I like that Joe finally got the belt but I have no idea why this couldn’t have happened at Takeover instead of house show unless WWE really wants to prove that house shows matter.
I am now concerned with NXT main roster depth if Balor gets the call up to the bigs. We have Joe and two guys who debuted at the last Takeover less than a month ago(I like both guys to be fair) but unless Itami comes back asap and the rumored signings appear I fear NXT might take it’s first step back since taking that huge leap forward going all the way back to the very first Takeover.
