Oh I used to do Raw live coverage there back in the day. It’s one I put up. Much appreciated on the looking out though!

Alot of people are claiming that CM Punk has been the “higher power” in Nexus all along. I don’t see it that way, as I believed he just joined Nexus (opposed to being the mastermind from the beginning)

CM Punk seemed hesitant to put on the Nexus band and join the group, which could means:
    1) He was debating if he should join Nexus, then decided that it would be best in his quest to eliminate Cena.
    2) He was subtly showing WWE management that he disapproved with their decision to have him join Nexus.

What are your thoughts? Was Punk the mastermind behind Nexus, or did Punk just join Nexus?

    • Thomas Hall says:

Yeah he just joined. I never got where this higher power concept came from. I don’t remember them mentioning it at all and it never seemed like they were answering to anyone else.

Good stuff as usual, KB. I like the quick results you added in there, nice for a glance when I don’t have time to read the whole thing.

This time of year just about everything is building to WrestleMania, inevitably. Where do you think Punk in Nexus puts him for the big show, or is it too early to tell?

    • Thomas Hall says:

The quick results weren’t intentional but I’ll throw them in at the end from now on. Too early to tell on Punk I think. Maybe vs. Cena but I’ve got a feeling on Miz vs. Cena at Mania.

This was the worst Raw I had ever seen. Tyson Kidd & Jackson Andrews get buried by Mark Henry, boring matches, and random segments. Don’t know whats going on with these new writers but it looks like they don’t get it yet.

The CM Punk/Nexus/Cena segment saved the night. I’m looking forward to how this storyline goes. IDK why people complain about CM Punk joining Nexus. I never know why some people complain about every little thing sometimes.

        • Thomas Hall says:

Kidd and Andrews weren’t exactly buried. They have to be somewhere above ground to be buried first. It’s not like they were a huge deal and then lost. Give it some time.

The two weeks after TLC and before the new year were odd last year too and then things took off when they started building to the Rumble. Should get a lot better in a hurry.
