    If I remember correctly the reason they did the switching angle with animal and Hawk was because at the time Animal couldn’t wrestle sue to him being on the Lloyd’s Of London Policy which restricted him from doing anything physical due to getting the policy after getting it due to a back injury which at the time was considered a injury that ended his career as a physical competitor

    Wait… it was established all the way back in 93 that having two world champions in one company is a terrible and confusing concept. I hope nobody is dumb enough to try that again.

      It’s not that simple. WWE did it due to a ton of talent and two separate shows. WCW did it because the NWA wouldn’t just let go of the past and insisted that their title was still more important than the WCW World Title. The belts were unified in I think May of 94.
