That IC title match was outstanding.

It’s pretty mindboggling how good Angle was from day 1, even considering his obviously impressive amateur background. The dude just completely understood the business and how to tell a story in the ring. To be that good that quickly is insane.

Yeah I’ll give you that, but both guys were incredible and it feels wrong to say one was definitively better than the other. That cage match on Raw with Austin on commentary is another example of the magic these two had together.

They definitely did, but Angle was several steps ahead of Benoit. If nothing else with the versatility of his comedy on top of amateur stuff.

The talking skills hurt his case but as far as wrestling goes I’d say he’s as good as anyone has ever been.

I suppose it’s all preference but my top 3 are probably Shawn, Kurt & Benoit in some order. The Royal Rumble 2003 match may be my favorite match of all time.

Is Chris Benoit the greatest wrestler of all time? You could make the argument.

At the beginning you wrote HHH is defending against Angle. It is supposed to be the other way around.

Probably my favourite rumble match of all time, I love 1992 and 2000, but this was the first rumble I was allowed to watch live and absolutely ate it up as a kid. The hardcore moments, Kane being saved by Undertaker and how Austin won.

Only thing I never really understood was Matt and Jeff eliminated each other. I know it was to push the every man for himself element but it always came off as stupid to me.
