Better Rumble Save: Morrison Or Kingston?
These two spots both blew my mind at the time and I can’t pick which is better. What do you think? Here they are:
Morrison:
Kingston:
Kofi’s is more impressive but it’s a one move trick. Morrison does about three things in the same sequence. Which do you like better?
The thing that could have made Kofi’s better would have been if his feet landed on the Low-Rider Bicycle and he rode that around for a while.
As it stands, Kofi’s was a “lets make us forget about Morrison since he left the company” save, while Morrisons was awesome.
Both were good but I liked John Morrison’s a little better. Just the fact he was able to hang on to the barricade and walk it without slipping. Then jumping from there to the Steps was awesome too.
I have to say Morrisons, like Kill joy said Kofi’s looked massively pre planned, with the Miz clearly not putting a lot of effort into his push, and Camacho just standing there watching.
Regal stays down, then Morrison kicks him which is I think a nice touch. Although on a side note, I was backing Morrison to win that rumble and the moment he did that spot, I knew it meant he wasn’t going to win.
I always think this would be a good rumble moment with a stable (We’ll use Punk and Nexus cause that’s when I thought it could work best) But what if someone threw Punk out, only for the nexus to catch him and throw him back in, his feet never touched the floor so he wouldn’t be eliminated and it adds an extra element for the eliminator (Cena) to deal with….
I believe it was 2003 when Matt Hardy was saved more than once by his MFer Shannon Moore.
Yeah you’re right, I read your review of it the other day and completely missed it. Thing is you would have probably known that even without redoing it recently haha
Morrison. Despite Matt Striker’s best efforts to ruin it. Both incredible though.
Kingston’s move looked pre-planned. Morrison’s looked more spontaneous. Not to mention that leap from the barricade to the steps had quite some distance.
This.
I personally like Morrison’s better. It was just astonishing, and nothing like it had ever been done before. Kingston’s was good, but after Morrison’s, it felt like WWE was forcing the moment.
