This was absolutely, undoubtably, without question, THE greatest wrestling show in history. And I absolutely LOVE the finish to the main event. My favorite finish ever.

STILL THE greatest show of all time.

What I like best about the show is that it has a true something for everyone feel. Do you like mad craziness/spots? Here’s TLC II and the hardcore title. Do you like technical, straightforward grappling? Here’s Angle/Benoit. Maybe you want nostalgia? Hey, there’s a gimmick battle royal. Like big time main events? One of the biggest. Maybe you’re just up for crazy stories? The McMahon street fight is for you.

The worst things on the card are either the Eddie/Test match or the Right to Censor matches, all of which are relatively short and painless.

The crowd is super hot for everything but if you can’t get super hot for half of the stuff on this card, there’s something wrong.

I don’t feel that I have the credentials to consider this the greatest PPV ever, but damn this show is awesome. Austin/Rock II is probably my favorite match of all time. Like you said, Limp Bizkit sucks but that build-up video is as epic as it gets. TLC II is still mind-blowing today. HHH/Taker is fantastic and the only better match Taker has had at WM was against HBK in my opinion. I could go on and on about this show. Such a classic.

This was the first time I went to Wrestlemania. The entire spectacle of the thing was amazingthe card was amazing, and the crowd was simply amazing as well. Lots of fun but hard to soak it all in. While there, I could tell it was something special. After watching it on VHS after though, I knew I had been part of something historically amazing. Luckily enough my next Mania appearance was in Arizona at 26 and I was able to appreciate it more having had been through it before. Both manias were amazing events.
