I saw this mania on ten sports when it aired, then I was a kid so I don’t remember most of the show but now I’m going to watch it again, since you have rated it b

This show was alright, but the only things I really liked were Shawn vs Undertaker, Money in the Bank and Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy. The rest was… eh… Triple H vs Orton was mediocre. It was neither bad nor good but it was a POOR main event!

I thought this show was bad for a Wrestlemania. Still do.

I don’t think 25 is that bad of a Mania. HBK/Taker obviously is what everyone remembers from this one and rightfully so. I do think looking back it should have been the Main Event here like it was the following year.

So this shitty show gets a B- while a solid mania in 22 gets C-. This is going to be one of those moments where you think “eh what was I thinking?”

I just dont understand how 4 just good matches and 1 classic with 2 duds and 1 awful match = a B- at wrestle freaking mania of all shows.

Now I have a feeling wrestlemania 27 will get an A just because it had 3 good matches.

I’d advise you to watch this show again. It’s far better than I remember. I doubt I’ll wind up thinking that.

We’ll see about that. I’m in the middle of 26 at the moment.

Just watched it now and it was better. About a C for me.

I rewatched wrestlemania 27 and that managed to be worse than watching it live. There is no classic wrestlemania performance, no great matches, terrible main event, rock wasn’t at his best, cole and lawler sucked, only good matches were punk orton, hhh undertaker and Rhodes mysterio.

WM27 should be butchered in your review.

Didn’t care for much of this show, but Taker-HBK alone was worth the price of the PPV. I would have been pissed had I missed that one live, as watching it since has never done it justice. It’s the only time I’ve thought the streak was coming to an end since they began toting the record. My only complaint with the match is Michael Cole, and it’s my main problem with him throughout his career: he blows the big spots. Nothing extinguishes a possible finish with the obvious giveaway of “SHAWN WITH SWEET CHIN MUSIC! HE’S DONE IT! HE’S ENDED THE STREAK!”

  7. The Bearded One says:

I think this show is extremely underrated. It’s not a great Wrestlemania by any means, but it’s nowhere near the worst like a lot of people say. Other than the concert, the main even was the only truly bad match, which hurts people’s perception of the show. Move the Michaels vs Taker to the main event and this show will be remembered as a much better show than it is now.
