Yeah it kinda does. If Bobby Roode,James Storm,Austin Aries,AJ Styles or whoever lets say get injured or leave somehow and these air whats the excuse going to be? The Matches may be fine but why am I suppose to be pay for these without some kind of Storylines going into them?

I still am entirely confused by their thought process when they decided to film these MONTHS in advance.

Sure the matches may have been good, but there’s a huge problem that can (and did) arise. In the time between filming and airing, people can be fired or jump ship, and you are in essence showing off a guy that you don’t have anymore (or is working for the enemy). In this case, the main culprit is Rob Van Dam. He is no longer in TNA and was last seen showing up at the WWE Hall of Fame (they mentioned it on WWE.com with a picture of him even) coupled with rumors that he could be working with WWE again. Why have guys not contracted to you wrestle for your PPVs, even if they’re minor shows? Is it so hard to just film the show a couple weeks ahead or something?

And there were a bunch of other guys that have never been on TNA TV. They’re basically enhancement talent, and they expect us to buy a show with them?

The very fact that these things are taped, are themed and are without storyline context means it doesn’t matter if people jump ship or leave. It’s a PPV about the X-Division, or tag-team wrestling, or the Knockouts. You’re here to watch them wrestle a match and cut a promo, little more. Does it matter where they are the day after?
