Bret Hart could of been the 3rd man.He was on hiatus from WWF at this point and he was awesome.Hulk Hogan can stick it brother

Amazing moment but Heenan kind of ruined it. I think it would have been even a tiny bit better if the announcers were all hyping up Hogan as being there to save the day and then were SHOCKED when he didn’t. By Heenan asking “which side is he on?” you’re basically telling people he’s turning heel. Now, Hogan hadn’t done that EVER so why not speak like he’s freakin Hulk Hogan and he’s there to save the day? Then when he doesn’t save the day and turns heel, your tone changes and it’s monumental.

It’s a little detail but I do think that’s one thing that could have and should have been changed here.

Other than that, the nWo was GREAT until they added new members. I agree with you there. I still think the ultimate death of it though was Bischoff joining. That was when you knew it was done for good.

I think it should have stayed Hogan/Hall/Nash for a little longer. The way they ran over WCW after Hogan turned, why would they need more members that quickly? Then come War Games when they need a 4th guy, have it be Giant. With those four it’d be believable for them to be dominant for a long time. Then you can eventually bring in Fake Sting as the Sting/Hogan feud heats up and maybe Eric Bischoff if you really want a mouthpiece on the group. But the group should have never gotten larger than that I feel.

agreed, i think the nWo should have remained all ex wwf guys, that would have lent to the credibility of them being an invading force. Also, there was no need for Bischoff to join, at least no as early as he did, by him joining it effectively rendered Ted Dibiase useless as nWo manager, the original line up should have been; Hogan, Hall, Nash, Dibiase, Syxx, Vincent, Bossman, Savage, Curt Henning and Rick Rude with Scott Stiener being the first WCW turncoat
