Afraid I’ve got to disagree with you there. They had some of the most stupid moments in wrestling history, like Halloween Havoc 95 and the Doomsday Cage Match, and the promo where Giant debuted is probably the worst I’ve ever seen. Coupled with bad gimmicks like Z-Gangsta and The Zodiak, and it’s one of the worst. Yeah, they won a fair amount of gold, but look at A&8’s. 2 World Titles, 1 TV Title and they were still awful.

I found the Dungeon of Doom quite interesting as a kid. It was over the top as hell no question but that’s fine, I like over the top.

I don’t hold much for accolades in mid 90’s WCW but it was actually pretty decent for what it was going for. As cartoonish as the stable was it fit for the time it was in and some of there moments were definitely head turners (like the Yeti busting out of the ice block. Even The mastermind of the Dungeon of Doom could get your attention by his unique look). It definitely gave Hogan a new and unique challenge and The Tower of Doom cage match is a guilty pleasure of mine.
