Wasn’t this around the time when Orton was being punished for his behavior backstage? Therefore Rey winning, while silly, was the back up plan?

They had Orton say Eddie is in hell just to get heat. While I’m not religious, even I felt that was a bit much.

If his family and friends were bothered by it I could understand your issue with it. Since I have never heard of anyone having an issue with it I just dont see why you feel its your duty to be offended for them. Id imagine you dont like it because you feel it disrespects his memory. You make the assumption that he would have an issue with while I make the assumption he would have no issue with it.

I honestly don’t understand why it upsets you so much that they discussed and based some storylines off of Eddie Guerrero after his passing. Isn’t it possible that some of the tribute that Rey made to him during this time was genuine? It’s also possible that this use of him allowed his family to be provided for (a job for Vickie) for eight years and counting after his passing. He and Rey were very good friends and it’s possible Eddie would have enjoyed that they continued to use his likeness even after his untimely death. I don’t have extremely strong feelings one way or another I am just puzzled why it bothers you to such an extent. Ultimately the WWE has taken care of his wife and family very well since his death and that is something you never seem to mention.

They lost that when they had an exploding low rider less than a month after he passed.

Im glad you are offended for things that his family is not. My average mind doesnt understand how an exploding lowrider disrespects his memory in any way.

Did he die in an explosion?

        • Thomas Hall says:

Why would I be bothered by a symbol of Eddie Guerrero being used as an angle a few weeks after he died? I’m seriously answering this?

Before you reply, yes I completely understand that a lot of fans wouldn’t be and if they’re not, that’s their opinion and I won’t criticize them for it.
