“WWE is white hot right now and they’re reloading for Extreme Rules”

WrestleMania was OK, Raw was OK. SummerSlam last year was infinitely better and there have been better Raws…
I really don’t see this as being ‘”white hot” just because a couple of cool things happened

I went to Summerslam and even I think Mania was just a bit better.

I don’t get what exactly you hated.

I didn’t say I hated anything, just that everyone is acting like these were the greatest 2 nights in pro-wrestling history. Raw was really not amazing in any way. WrestleMania was OK but nothing special. Other than the massive swerve that was the streak ending, nothing was all that interesting or surprising.

Much better crowd this year. Then again it helps that it followed a much better Wrestlemania. I’m surprised it took eight and a half years for the crowd to come up with singing John Cena Sucks along with his entrance music, it seems so natural.

I liked that, although the crowd was loud, they were chanting for the people who were actually on the show. They were smarky but into the product. Loads of English people seemed to be in the crowd – which might explain the mega pops for Barrett and Paige. I love it when they do the football chants and confuse the hell out of the commentators.

To be fair, we were all excited about the direction the WWE seemed to be heading after Summerslam and that didn’t turn out so well

Here’s the difference: Bryan was allowed to be champion for more than 24 hours this time. And the Authority has started to act like heels all the time now, and the Shield is pushing against them now, meaning Bryan has SOME help now.
