What a shock, you don’t like EY as champ. Not like you bash him every review. He’s been booked strong for two months now as serious guy. And he’s not like Santino cause when you look at Young at least he looks like he can kick your ass. It’s something fresh and new and that is what I appreciate about both companies right now. I bet if your boy Big E. Langston won the world title, you’d be blowing your load even though he has done nothing since winning the IC title and basically nothing since coming up to the WWE. And spare me how good he was in NXT. That is not canon. I don’t care how good a prospect plays in Triple A. If he can’t hit in the majors then what good is he?

So let me get this straight.

You wrote a long paragraph talking about how I’m not happy that a guy I don’t like gets a push and suggest I’d be happy if a guy I like won the World Title?

Have any lottery numbers for me Carnac?

He’s been booked strong the last few months? He was part of a tag team win in Jan and hasn’t won another televised match in 2014. He didn’t even have a match on the Lockdown PPV. Before last night, his last win in a televised singles match was against Robbie E on Sept 12 2013 – 7 MONTHS AGO.

How in the world is that strong booking?

Last couple of months, is February/March genius. He’s been involved in the Magnus/Joe/Abyss storyline since late February now. Yes he’s been booked strong. And there’s only been one PPV in 2014 LOL!

        • Thomas Hall says:

If it’s late February, it’s month and a half, not months.

        • Dark Grin says:

Exactly … The company has only had 1 ppv this year & he wasn’t even worthy of having a match on it. But you’re right, hanging out w abyss & not winning a single match in your 2 month stretch of Feb/march is very strong booking indeed.

It really seems like there should be a main event on top of what we’re seeing, guys like styles and Aries, even Daniels hold so much more credibility than what were seeing, and between this and Sabin last year the TNA title feels like a Midcard belt not something only held by the elite

I get that they we’re going for shock but this isn’t the mark out moment they wanted as they picked a guy who’s made people groan Everytime he’s appeared for 10 years, 2 months of better build hasn’t erased that. Bad call for a company in desperate need of a strong figurehead champion to replace the names that have gone, Magnus wasn’t cutting it, and right now there’s only a handful of people who would bring instant credibility to this, adding the belt to Ray vs roode possibly still feels fresh and gives it meaning, but EY and Magnus just feels Midcard

Where can I go bang my head against a wall? As soon as Eric Young mentioned one arm and wanting a Title shot tonight instead of the PPV i knew where it was headed. I guess they can say Hey look we have a bearded underdog Champion too.

  4. Killjoy says:

It’s only 4 years too late, but hey maybe we can finally have a face champion that lasts longer than a month and isn’t called Sting.

Eric Young as TNA champ? I like Eric but TNA champ? Thats the equivalent of making Santino WWE champ, not a good idea.
