And to think. Triple H vs Randy Orton haunted us on and off for over 5 years with still some remnants of it to this day including Ortons latest turn. Wrestling each other thousands of times doesnt make the feud epic. Not to mention the matches sucked beyond belief as well. I know Triple H gets a lot of flack but i do agree that when he tries to have something be epic it doesnt work about 90 percent of the time.

Yeah that’s kind of a tried and true structure.

You’ve referred to the 3 act structure in Rumbles before. Forgive my ignorance but could you expand on that a little?

Stage 1 – Start off with no names/low level people until about number 8 when a big name comes in to clean house.

Stage 2 – Big name cleans out a few names until another big name interrupts at about #13 and the two go at it with neither being eliminated, allowing the ring to fill back up.

Stage 3 – Another big name comes in at about #23 and clears out the filler guys, leading to the ending.
