You know KB I get all your arguments but again I was there on Sunday and I still enjoyed the Show overall. While I wanted either Roman Reigns or Dean Ambrose to leave as Champion I don’t think Sheamus will hold it very long. I know he’s not making it to WM 32 with it and loses it either at TLC or Royal Rumble.

With how things have gone I can’t believe they went with the lamest route possible in having sheamus win the title. I’m surprised but I really shouldn’t be. Reigns has been crippled by wwe for close to a year now.

I was going to say Ambrose winning the title while reigns pretends to congratulate him only to spear him in half, showing that the frustration of getting so close every time finally got to him. Ambrose vs Heel Reigns would have been awesome at least till Mania season picked up. Alas that’s the reason it didn’t happen.

Would you say the money in the bank idea has run it’s course now?

I don’t think Roman’s size has much to do with him failing in the new Bryan role the company is trying to pigeonhole him into, except in how it factors into Vince’s fascination with him. Before he was sidelined, I feel like Cesaro was on his way to laying the foundations of becoming the poor man’s Daniel Bryan (I don’t think he would’ve gotten to Bryan’s level, but he still wouldn’t have failed at it unless the company absolutely torpedoed him), and he’s about the same size as Reigns.

Bigger issue is without Brock, Cena, Orton, Rollins, and Rusev (who was back on RAW last night) – the roster thins out really fast of well-built and well-protected guys. You add Owens, Reigns, Ambrose, and Del Rio to that list and that’s the entire current roster of respectable talent in terms of wins/losses and star power.

Now would be the absolute perfect time to be able to elevate fresh main event talent if they all didn’t have a .500 record and had SOME momentum. But who in the midcard has had any kind of consistently good booking? You see guys lose enough and eventually fans stop caring.

We’ve seen Ziggler and Barrett lose so much over the last 4 years they’re damaged goods, when both in-ring and on the mic are can’t-miss talents. They have Heath Slater and Jack Swagger and R-Truth on the roster to take losses to a guy like Ambrose so someone like Sheamus doesn’t have to lose in a throwaway match on RAW that goes nowhere.

I get that you can’t book RAW in 2015 like Wrestling Challenge in 1991 with 5 squash matches. But at some level, they need to slow down and protect a lot more of their future prospects.

I’m cool with the MITB and him cashing in. Its exactly what that gimmick is, a shortcut to a championship for a guy that doesn’t deserve it. Swagger, both Edge & Punk’s first one. Not everyone that wins MITB should be a Randy Orton or RVD. That takes the fun out of it being a little more random. A main eventer can have a title match relatively anytime. But if this is a launching point for rebooting or kick-starting a guy – like Edge’s or even Miz’s, then it serves a better purpose.

It’s one thing when it’s someone like Rollins who has been built up. Sheamus on the other hand felt like a big surprise for the sake of a big surprise. That’s not good.

I won’t say Cena ruined Bray, but Bray winning at WrestleMania would’ve meant alot for him.
