In hindsight, WWE got it right. The backlash of Bryan only made the YES movement that more popular. Because of this, we got an epic Road to Wrestlemania for Bryan instead of taking the easy road and having him win the Royal Rumble.

No The wwe did not get it right. It took them the better part of nine months to realize how over Bryan was. They only changed their plans because the fans forced their hand. They don’t get points for doing something that was obvious from the start.

The only thing i would have changed is have Daniel Bryan win the Rumble and save Batista’s return for RAW the night after. Then have the two meet the next month at Elimination Chamber and if Batista wins it becomes a 3-way at WM 30. Although I guess we wouldn’t have gotten the awesome DB/HHH Match in the opener. At the very least they could have saved Dave’s return for the next night.

I’m very curious what your redo of the 2015 Rumble will be.

I had some time to think about whenever the 2014 or 2015 Rumble was worse in terms of not listening to the audience. After some thought, the 2015 Rumble came off as the biggest insult. 2014 was a case where they didn’t know what their audience wanted. They legit didn’t know Bryan was that over. 2015, they KNEW. They totally knew. They just didn’t care and decided that Reigns was the guy, fans’ demands be damned.
