King Barrett Reportedly Leaving WWE In June

And…..I’m not sure why people would care. Barrett has been floating around the midcard for years now, picking up the Intercontinental Title here and there before dropping it for another injury. Ever since he didn’t win the World Title back in 2010. After that he was just a guy who didn’t win the big one and was another face in the crowd after that. I like the guy but he’s really not someone who is going to be a huge loss.
This just allows him to go somewhere like NJPW or TNA, and just walk on stage during a title match with “I got some bad news for you. I’m your next champion.” I’m paraphrasing, but people would mark for it, and he’d get a shot at doing something until WWE comes calling again (see R-Truth)
yeah and no way bruh gets labeled WWE Reject immediately and any chance of being great goes out the window
I’d miss the hell out of him. He’s a natural heel and has a ton of talent. They hesitated on pulling the trigger on him after the Nexus invasion but they always seemed to try with him but his body just couldn’t hold up. I hope he reconsiders as I’ve always been a fan.
A pity – his bad news Barrett was a fantastic gimmick.
He’s not going to be a big loss because they botched the booking for him, not because he’s a bad talent necessarily.
At the same time he became injury prone every time they tried to give him the big push.
