This is indeed a disturbing universe.

Greg, you silly bastard, Princess Peach is saying that they can have the microphones they already have that get the crowd reactions nearer to the plants so the positive responses can come across more clearly, giving the broadcast the impression that it’s not as one sided as they think.

You do realise they have a whole bunch of set ups around the ring so if there’s something making too much noise they can switch feeds to the other side right? The same principle applies to a crowd in a place as large as a stadium where certain things need to be at higher/lower levels depending on the circumstances e.g. pyro for an entrance or brawling through the crowd.

Seriously wouldn’t be surprised if the unsold tickets all end up going to plants told to be as loud as possible to try and make stuff like the divas tag and Reigns “controversial” instead of “hated by everyone here since it’s literally the raw after Wrestlemania crowd scaled up”

    • Greg says:

In a stadium that big, using plants would be dumb. Sound does not travel that well in gigantic stadiums so even if they used 20,000 plants, it would not make a difference on TV.

      • Princess Peach says:

Mic up the section that has the plants and make that what the network hears. You’ll hear the boos since they won’t eclipse them but it’ll sound like it’s more 50-50 rather than 90-10. It’s not that out of the question man.

        • Greg says:

Well that’s not exactly possible so they won’t be doing that. You can’t mute a portion of the crowd, doesn’t work like that. They can sort of mute the entire crowd but that’s really it.

I really want this wrestlemania to be good. I’m doing my best to go into it with a positive attitude. Bad decisions and illogical booking be damned.

‘but that attendance record (which you know is coming down) is going to be something special to see.”

The 84,000? it will be a sight to see.
