Whew that card flew by. It’s not often that you get 6 matches in a card and set up two matches for next week. I like that Gargano and Ciampa are a tag team again. I think if Gargano really starts digging in on this Johnny Wrestling as cocky face persona than he will be the perfect foil for a boring straight/ WAY TOO INTENSE Tommaso Ciampa. Plus both are gold in the ring.

Nakamura continues to impress just by his off the wall over the top self. Dillinger could be a great midcard champion if NXT ever had a midcard title. Dillinger might be better off on the main roster to be honest.

Not as impressed with Tessa Blanchard but she obviously has the instincts for in match story beats but she really doesn’t have a confident move set and she is the same size as Bliss so it could limit her. I worry they haven’t built the women’s division up well enough considering Bayley can’t be around for much longer and it amounts to Jax and Asuka without her.

I liked Aries in TNA and ROH but in a small sample he isn’t really impressing so far in NXT. Particularly he seems bored/frustrated already and that can’t seem to decide if he is a heel or a face.

Is it just me or did the ring seem bigger tonight?

Can we please get Tye Dillinger a push? His gimmick is way too good and he’s way too good at it to just be a jobber.

They’re definitely in a weird state right now as there’s no clear number one contender for all three titles aside from the obligatory rematches to the former champions. Also, Joe is now their only top heel with big names like Balor, Aries and Nakamura as faces. Is there a Balor heel turn coming soon?

Is it me, or did Gable look like Dean Portman from the Mighty Ducks with that Bandana?
