Do you think that the NXT Takeover show taking place this week has anything to do with the brand split? Acccording to a lot of sites, rumors say that the Takeover event is called ”The End” due to it being the end of NXT, and every single competitor (or most of them) will be called up to the main roster to fill in the spots on Raw and Smackdown. And supposely they’ll restart from scratch and make Evolve their developmental territory (which will be aired on the WWE Network more then likely).
Personally, I can see it happening, but it would be a weak show to end NXT on, and especially out of the blue like that. Thoughts?
I’ve heard that rumor and I just can’t buy it. I’d hope not at least as I just bought an NXT house show ticket for after the Draft.
I think NXT might be rebooted and all the principals involved in NXT now( let’s say the entire Takeover card + Bayley/Camella/Blissful/Mojo/Tye) get drafted. I don’t think they would be debuting Andrade Cien Almas if they are shutting down the Fuil Sail set. Perhaps NXT will become a vehicle for the CWC and they will just rebuild the tag division and women’s division as they go along.
As someone else said, maybe it’s referring to the end of the feud.
