I loved the Bray, Dean, and Dolph storyline. I loved both the opening segment and the main event. It was a perfect way to solidify Dolph as a contender for the title.

The Cena/Styles segment was also great. I thought they both brought their A-game for that segment.

It was nice to see Crews get his shot.

Eva really should be a valet or something. KEEP HER OUT OF ACTIVE COMPETITION FOR GOD’S SAKE!

American Alpha is incredible. I am so excited for them to be part of the tag scene.

I loved this week’s SD, personally. I think I found more enjoyment out of it than Raw.

Could they not have found jobbers for American Alpha to squash, like they did for Strowman and Jax? The Vaudevillians aren’t much, but with such a shallow talent pool, I feel like this was a perfect spot for no-name jobbers? I mean, they couldn’t find two guys in Nashville who each wanted $1000?

  3. Thomas Hall says:

Both shows exist of course. Heaven forbid we don’t try to make them as Kardashian as possible.

  4. Bry says:

Man, I read all your reviews but it feels like lately you have been complaining ALOT.

Are you not enjoying the current product?

    • Thomas Hall says:

I like a lot of it but the last week has been rough.

Nearly four and a half hours of Battleground
      Hour of ROH
Three hours and fifteen minutes of Raw
      Two hours of Smackdown
      Hour of NXT
      Hour of Cruiserweight Classic
      Two hours of Impact

I’ll get used to the new schedule but those pay per view weeks are a nightmare with them adding in so much extra content which doesn’t need to be there.

  5. M.R. says:

What’s the deal with the redhead? Why can’t she wrestle live?

  6. BSE says:

That was a great promo by Cena but an even greater promo by Styles.

I’m really looking forward to their match and Lesnar vs. Orton.

In all honesty though, I couldn’t care less about Ziggler vs. Ambrose or Rollins vs. Balor. I just can’t take Ziggler or Balor seriously. They’re going to need a TON of buildup over the next few weeks, and that probably won’t be enough. Still this should be a great SummerSlam and one of the best in a while, so I can’t complain too much.

    • Jay H (the real one) says:

Why can you not take Finn Balor seriously? Please tell me you aren’t in the Ric Flair/Vince Russo camp of the small guys don’t belong in the Main Event.

I don’t see your issue KB of Dolph getting a WWE Title shot at Summerslam. Personally I thought his promo tonight was the most fire he’s showed in quite a while. Can we not just be happy for the guy after alot of the stuff he’s had to go through the last several years?

One thing i liked here was the little Wrestler bios when they came out. That’s a nice little touch.

  7. Mike M. says:

Ambrose’s promo feel heelish to you?
