Takeover & Summerslam I am very much looking forward to.
Death Before Dishonor has a decent card with a great Main Event in Jay Lethal vs Adam Cole where I think Cole ends Lethal’s reign as ROH Champion. At the same time I agree that the New Japan stuff. Just don’t understand why ROH just has to put them over the majority of the time on their Shows. I get they have a working relationship but New Japan doesn’t need the rub.
Holy crap, that title of this post is clever.
Just one thought from me here –
Cena hasn’t won a match at SummerSlam since 2010. I honestly think Styles needs the win here, as Cena’s streak of continuous losses at SummerSlam continue. Agree/Disagree KB?
Nah he doesn’t. Cena really doesn’t need to win another big match ever and he’ll be fine.
Summerslam is just so icky and not well built outside of the big 5 matches. I hope those five deliver but they all various pitfalls that could ruin them but I have hope. I think overall I give this mega blockbuster a pass because Reigns drug suspension and the draft were relatively unforeseen things that have thrown the entirety of the midcard upside down.
Takeover is gonna be awesome.
Poor ROH. I was actually contemplating adding their show into the weekly rotation when they clearly had stories that were standing on their own and now it’s just been a hogwash of NJPW super shows with no story other than the Bullet Club developing the NWO’s worst traits.
