I think you also have to appreciate how less of screen time and screen space authority figures hog as compared to Raw. If this were Monday Night Raw, that Survivor Series announcement would have taken place in the ring with Stephanie going into a grand speech and the segment taking 15 minutes. Here, Shane and Bryan did it backstage in under 2 minutes. In other segments too, Bryan was short and simple in his lines. A welcome change from Raw!

Over the hill? Kenny Dykstra still looks good and he’s a young guy. From what I can see he’s still an pretty active wrestler.

Ellsworth almost broke his neck from that styles clash, he tucked his chin and that’s what broke yoshi tatsu’s neck. Imagine how different tonight would have gone?

That made me wince. I heard the thud when it happened live and then noticed the botch during the replay. He appeared to be okay but that could have been bad.

I like the idea of Smackdown vs RAW at Survivor Series instead of doing it like they did at Bragging Rights. As far as the Tag I wonder if they will do it like 1987/1988 style, one guy gets pinned and both are eliminated.

AJ Styles was great tonight in putting over James Ellsworth. I was worried some people would lose their minds over it but from what ive seen most seemed to enjoy it. Dean Ambrose played his part as usual too. Im not as annoyed with JBL even though Pre-split him kissing up to the Heels was getting tiresome. He’s back to being more reserved in the booth on Smackdown like he was in 2006-2007.
