Playing a supervillain in an episode where there’s a new drug called Stardust. The episode is fine but the wrestling connection…..doesn’t exist. Unless I missed it, and I’m pretty sure I didn’t, TNA didn’t mention this once on the recent episodes of Impact. Yeah one of their stars is appearing on a network TV show in a cool role and they don’t have time to mention it. They can plug Dixie’s Twitter and give us 19 mentions of whatever Pop TV show is airing but they can’t say this once?
This is also the same Company who let Bobby Roode’s contract lapse in 2013 and have paid their talent late many times in the recent past. I don’t know why we are shocked by this but i mean god forbid we can’t go one week of Impact without Josh Matthews telling us to follow Dixie Carter on social media.
Of course Dixie would plug in her Twitter rather than mention one of her talents is on a TV show. This is Dixie we’re talking about, a person who hired Vince Russo KNOWING that it would get her kicked off Spike TV if they found out, did it anyway, and said she would do it again after they were kicked off.
Arrow is on the CW, are they allowed to talk about it on pop?
In theory. I don’t know why they wouldn’t be.
