Side note: I was at this show and started a “fix the screen” chant because it wasn’t working for at least the first half of the Owens/Rollins match. It got through several times. And the crowd exploded when they fixed it because it was right in the middle of that crazy sequence where they hit each other a bunch and did a double knockout spot.

All the more reason that Sasha winning after that table spot would have been ridiculous. Having her winning is fine but make it believable.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they only had Charlotte win so Sasha gets a rematch again. They will both be on the Raw SS team and then go to a TLC match at TLC (or whatever raw ppv is in December). Mostly because as KB said, only one left is Bayley to challenge and they are retarded if Bayley vs Sasha for the title isn’t at WrestleMania.

The same can be said about Owens vs Rollins. This will extend until December I am farily certain when Triple H FINALLY returns and they have their blow off match nobody cares to see at Royal Rumble (would it really surprise you if they wait till WrestleMania?).

Shitty thing about the Brand split is im just throwing out the most boring booking ideas and that’s more than likely what they will go with because they always stall in the fall until Royal Rumble which means the same champions and contenders for months on end. Having a brand split makes it much worse because there are even less people. I mean who the hell challenges Owens for the title besides Rollins and Jericho? Reigns?

We all know how the fans react when someone receives superman booking. Sasha couldn’t win after being taken away on a stretcher and the other punishment she received during the match.

Yea because it would be ridiculous to be beaten up by two of your own partners then ddt’d on the exposed floor then win… oh wait.

      • Jaiden says:

I have no idea what you’re talking about?

        • Ted says:

The point is says a fighting from underneath would not have been the same thing as the example I listed “summers slam 2010”. You did not need to piss of the hometown crowd. If you must put the title on Charloette do it on raw. It changes up the charolette only loses on raw bit. Crowd cheers at the end of hell in a cell, And you can continue the story you wanted in the first place.

        • Dragon says:

The hometown hero doesn’t always have to win….it gets too predicatable and the repeated superman comebacks just because you are in your hometown piss off crowds these days as well…..in other forms of sports hometown teams lose the big one many times.

It’s also ridiculous to sell a table powerbomb as “stretcher-worthy”. That spot alone told me that the women aren’t being treated as equals to the men. Anybody who is still diluding themselves into thinking they are is sorely mistaken.

I really try to not call people idiots anymore for disagreeing with them but holy crap you are an idiot.

Brock Lesnar got put through a table once and had medical people checking on him for a long time (Royal Rumble). Rock once got pulled out during a Royal Rumble and put through a table by Big Show. He was out for a long time before coming back in. Those two have significantly more meat than Sasha has so Sasha should have been dead if even a guy like Lesnar gets killed from a table. This also happened to Roman Reigns during a Royal Rumble. I can keep going if you want.

I feel like Sasha should’ve won and that Cesar’s deserves better than this boring storyline

  6. Greg says:

The cruiserweights continue to highlight the problem of introducing 50 people at once. This happened with the Divas Revolution. Introduced a lot of them way too fast and it took them awhile to find their identity.

  7. Dragon says:

One difference could be that WCW had Mike Tenay giving us a thorough background on the CW’s…something the Raw announcers are lacking.

  8. Broken James Gracie says:

Charlotte winning was a surprise but thinking about it when she does lose on PPV it will be a big deal. That being said she and Sasha going on last was great, they didn’t disappoint. Rest of the Show was good I liked the other two Cells especially KO and Seth Rollins.

On a side note KB I don’t understand your dislike of the CWs. The WCW ones didn’t have stories much either yet most people enjoyed them. Which seems be your issue with them right now.

It’s not 1997 anymore and cruiserweights aren’t anything special. We’ve seen Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and other smaller guys thrive in WWE. There are whole promotions dedicated to nothing but cruiserweight style. Why would I be interested in some passable cruiserweight style stuff wedged in on a roster that is already bloated as it is?

  9. Dragon says:

Charlotte had to win after that stretcher job. If Sasha had one in Hell In a Cell after barely being able to walk, it would have took any believability out of the match (nevermind that her selling of the back was off and on throughout the match)…right call at the end and it was enjoyable……also, Jericho continues to shine, its a shame he didn’t have a match.

    • Ted says:

It still makes no sense for charolette to win her title back again after losing it on raw. Is Sasha just allergic to holding the title after ppv? Also why would you piss off the home crowd who were already bored and annoyed with some of the matches tonight?
