Sloppy execution aside, I liked Almas paying tribute to his former Los Ingobernables stablemate Tetsuya Naito by using Destino. I’m digging Almas as a heel, but I thought it was a nice surprise to see Lorcan beat him.

Nia Jax does nothing for me. I realize this was a house show, but seeing her rinse-and-repeat formula of crushing nobodies, then rag-dolling main-eventers only to choke against them is getting pretty stale. The women’s title match actually took me out of this show.

I’m also with Tom Phillips; seeing Tajiri is some pretty great nostalgia.

I will disagree with you somewhat on the length. While I understand that we don’t really need to have Almas and a women’s tag match with no build or importance eat up 20 minutes it doesn’t bother me because we got three 20 minute title matches that were pretty great. Compared to the usual year end clip shows we normally get at this time of year this is gold. I hope they do the same with the Melbourne show next week before we get back into the proper build for San Antonio’s Takeover.
