Natalya: John doesn’t love you, you’ll never get married and you’re going to die alone, bitch.

    Nikki: *sad face*

KB: I think Nattie is the babyface here.

    • Thomas Hall says:

Oh but didn’t you know: if you get your chest enhanced, wear tiny shorts, learn how to shake your hips and talk about being fearless on a low level reality show, you too can be a star and get whatever you want

      • Conor says:

She’s just as good a worker as Natalya but one of them is hot and had to learn to work while the other is related to some old wrestlers so obviously only one of them can get any credit.

It’s not as if Natalya isn’t on reality TV either

        • NightShiftLoser says:

It’d e crazy to say that either of those shows aren’t Bella-centric. And Natalya was a good worker who should have been relevant before either show aired, so she has a right to be bitter. Also, everything she has said about Nikki being around because of Cena is true, so I don’t see how she could be the heel. Nikki comes off like a cheerleader trying to stop the rumor that she’s a talentless slut in a high school…

        • Greg says:

Natalya is way better in ring than Nikki.

Nikki’s character is horrible and she is much better suited as a heel. The perception of her is not positive and she could really play on that (though her acting skills leave a lot to be desired).

Honestly the thing Nikki really needs right now is to get the ever loving crap beat out of her. It will build sympathy and she can eventually overcome it. Show her suffering actual adversity rather than her just saying she is fearless. I have no reason to connect with her. Due to her neck however, this isn’t possible. She has worked hard and improved from what she used to be. It is hard to care though when her improvement is that she went from bad in the ring to mediocre.

Not a fan of Natalya’s character either.

In all fairness, Flair’s a bit overrated. I’ll take a Shawn Michaels or Kurt Angle over him anyday.

  3. Dubyae says:

Not a very well written review (for a specific example, read the rating for the Alexa Bliss/Naomi match).

Have to agree with the others who take issue with KB’s constant bashing of Ric Flair. Bizarre.

    • Thomas Hall says:

Yeah I wasn’t feeling this one as I wrote it. That can happen sometimes but it’s not much of an excuse.

Not so much of Flair but rather the incessant praise he receives and the army of people who come out whenever his already horribly tarnished legacy is threatened in any way.

  4. Booker says:

Wow KB. Really? You do not seem to know anything about wrestling, no offence.

  5. chad says:

Rics titles DO mean more than Cenas, he was champion in a time when it was a harder thing to gain and it was a much more important post rather than the prop the belts have become.

    • Prophet says:

They’re not real titles. Flair never actually won anything.

They mean the same thing. It’s a prop for a story. Always has been and always will be. They’re not an actual athletic achievement like an Olympic Medal or something. Ya win a title when the owner says “it’s time for Flair to win the title” that’s it.

    • Thomas Hall says:

      Not really, no.

Flair held the title when it was much harder to lose the thing. He wasn’t on national TV every week for a good chunk of his title reigns, meaning it felt a lot more special to see him. Cena has been out there for two hours a week since the day he won his first title and has still managed to stay where he is.

People act like Flair is this saint who has never done anything wrong and who came from some mythical era where nothing was ever wrong and wrestling was the greatest thing ever. For the life of me I do not understand why he’s praised so highly above everyone else and it gets very tiresome. This argument of “his title reigns meant more” is nonsense and always has bene.

      • Bloodbuzz Bunk says:

It’s almost like people forget how he got the last 4-6 title Reigns he had in WCW. They were just awful storyline flip flopping on tv and didn’t last long and meant nothing. Everyone acts like he had 16 12-18 month long reigns. Heck I would say Cena’s 15th and 16th reigns being a combined 2.5 months were way more impactful a memorable than Flair’s 15th or 16th.

        • Thomas Hall says:

          Flair’s eleventh: 202 days
          Flair’s twelfth: 26 days
          Flair’s thirteenth: 71 days
          Flair’s fourteenth: 28 days
          Flair’s fifteenth: 7 days.
Flair’s sixteenth: Less than a day.

Now that eleventh one is rather different and I’d like to propose that the difference is Nitro. You go to two hours a week on national TV and everything instantly changes. It just doesn’t work that way because people get tired of seeing you and things need to change.

Cena has had every single one of his title reigns in that era. It’s no longer a house show based system where you can show up in a town once every year or two and be considered the most amazing thing ever.

That’s why I dislike the “Flair’s reigns matter more”. No they don’t. They were in a VERY different era where long reigns were common because there was no national TV to water people down. Why that doesn’t connect isn’t clear.

  6. Sagar says:

Im sorry but What’s with your constant jibes on Ric Flair? You complain about him in the same vein as you would about Nikki Bella.

    • Dorian says:

      Where did you infer that?

    • Thomas Hall says:

I get very tired of having to hear about how amazing he is. For some reason it’s considered blasphemy to suggest that ANYONE could ever be better than Flair at anything and I have no idea why. He was a horrible draw outside of the south and has been an embarrassment to wrestling several times in his career. Cena tied his record and people came out of the woodwork to defend Flair and go on and on about how Cena’s career is nothing compared to him.

It gets very, very tiresome and I have no idea why we all have to bow down to Flair at every given moment.

  7. Jay H (the real one) says:

Ha that little rant at the end was a nice touch.

Anyway i give the Show a little higher grade than you. Im glad for Bray Wyatt, The Chamber was pretty awesome and i like the new look of it. I am also more high than you are about Naomi winning, I think she’s earned it too. Randy Orton & Luke Harper was pretty damn good, a breakout performance for Harper. The rest of the PPV was fine, I liked Becky & Mickie a little more myself.

    • Jerichoholic94 says:

The worst part of the show was easily Nikki Bella and Natalya. The match AND segment were horrible. That being said I completely disagree with you. I am happy for Naomi, she is very athletic and seems to genuinely like being there but that was the wrong call. Bliss should’ve went over.

    • Dorian says:

Come on, Naomi? She is an awful wrestler, and even worse talker. Basically an anti-Rock in every which way.

  8. Aeon Mathix says:

was hoping it wasnt wyatt. him and orton are going to be a snoozefest at mania.

lol at half of the womens roster on smackdown having been a former champion. might at well call the titles participation trophies now

  9. Pringle Jar says:

I miss the steel grate floor.
