This was the perfect example of how a TV show should look like more often nowadays. 2 hours. A great long and meaningful promo where you get the feeling that the wrestlers wrote every single word for themselves. 2 to 3 solid but not too lengthy matches (they could mix it up with some more jobber matches like back in the old days) matches and a fresh storytelling segment at the end.

Since the brand split they do many things right at SD. That’s the way TV worked back in the “good days” – just tell stories and angles, let the young guys evolve slowly and save the big matches for the big shows. For my taste they could even slow it down a bit more but they are on a good way especially if you keep in mind that the roster is pretty small.

Here’s hoping the fans will acknowledge that even more so that the high ups will get it sometime that less is more…

Good promo but I can’t help but feel an intergender tag match is a waste of Cena at WrestleMania.

Yet if he were in the WWE Championship Match you’d say well why isn’t someone new in that instead of him? I am willing to bet anyway.

A match with Undertaker or one-on-one match with Miz would be fine in my eyes, but I can’t speak for everyone.

I just don’t like how the entire thing is set up to give Nikki Bella her big moment, and I’m a huge Nikki fan.

      • M.R. says:

I wouldn’t mind him in the championship match, but it doesn’t have to be a title match. Most Cena matches are gonna be the biggest match on the card, which is why I said an intergender tag match is a waste, troll.

The Undertaker lines from Cena were fantastic. Dude is so awesome and had the crowd behind him very quickly once he got a chance to talk. As he usually does.

I found both cena and miz boring and I don’t care one wit about their match. Not knocking the guys they are both talented. This just does nothing for me.

Luke Harper and AJ killed it. No idea what the hell that was with randy orton.

Smackdown definitely took it back from RAW this week by a mile. That opening promo was gold and I am now looking forward to that mixed Tag. The final segment was really well done I thought. It should be interesting if they stick with a 3 Way or go back to Bray/Randy.

  6. Dorian says:

    WOW that opening PROMO.
