Sounds like a good show. I would have thought oVe would have been better named as Ohio versus Everyone, no everything. Everything just does not make sense. I mean, if they are versus everything, then they will fight inanimate objects as well?

The new belts are hideous looking which is not surprising as all GFW (before the merger) belts were hideous.

Taryn is back which is a good thing. I really hope they do not let Cornette go as he is not contracted with GFW which means, GFW being GFW with a bunch of one offs. Hope it does not turn into the Bully Ray scenario that happened in the past.

Green ropes are nice, gauntlet match if what I am thinking correctly is a fun match as the last two competitors fighting for a pin fall or submission does interest me. Overall, I am glad they seem to be moving in a better direction than the mess of the shows they had.

I am amazed Cornette went back there after going into the WWE Hall Of Fame only a few months ago and after the Table for 3 I thought he’d stick around in some capacity.

    • Prophet says:

No, Cornette didn’t go into the WWE Hall of Fame.

He inducted The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express. Cornette isn’t in the WWE Hall of Fame.

They continue moving in the right direction. Agreed that Cornette is a huge improvement over Pritchard.

I’ve seen OVE in person and was disappointed in their debut. I thought the jobbers got in way too much offense and actually had move impressive moves. I’m hoping OVE’s debut paves the way for Sami Callihan coming to GFW as anyone other than a computer hacker.

I wonder if we’re getting a face turn for Lashley, possibly leading to a match against one of his MMA buddies (because we will care about MMA or else). Pleasantly surprised to see Sydal win even if it’s basically just a rehash of Lashley/Edwards.

They’re amassing some talent. Hopefully they can book it properly.
