The whole idea of Kane’s monster persona being on Austin’s head is totally stupid. Bischoff was the one who forced Kane to unmask in the first place, setting off this chain of events.

The entire Maven Storm match is dogshit. The commentators bury Storm for being boring because…. he’s a competent technical wrestler like Benoit and Jericho I guess (I’m not saying he had Jericho promo abilities but he was very good on mic in 2000 WCW and ECW) but Maven is supposed to be interesting because… what, he’s a jobber who can’t wrestle? That’s really what they’re going with? And Maven wins the match. This is kind of proto early Bryan in WWE as they treated him the same constantly having Cole bitch that he was boring for having good technical matches that the crowd was into, the dam burst on that one because Bryan got over af but 2010/11 is insufferable trying to watch anything with Bryan because they refuse to book him well and Cole’s commentary makes you want to murder him and you know its just Vince in his ear yelling that he’s a nerd because he doesn’t watch tv and wrestles technical/submission style but was considered weak on the mic until they actually let him cut promos. Ugh, I think the Bryan stuff was more obnoxious but Storm got buried harder.

I read old iwc stuff from this time period and Eric S and other IWC guys were coping about the original Austin burying Storm promo saying that this was obviously going to lead to a negative push for Storm that was going to help his career. Two weeks later they weren’t laughing anymore. The best Storm probably got treated in WWE was the ons 05 ppv where he got to wrestle Jericho and not be treated like a joke but that Austin promo is just dog shit awful and killed Storms career. IDK if it was Austin or Vince’s idea but burying a dude who could’ve been just as reliable or as big a draw as Benoit so you’re so injured he can’t wrestle star can bury future talent is always a shitty short sighted idea. Its actually kind of insane that Storm got treated better in WCW 2000 than he did in WWF but its true, maybe its because he didn’t jump ship like Benoit, Eddie, Jericho or he wasn’t as big an IWC/smart darling or vince just didn’t see anything in him but this one of the best examples of a horrible burial with no upside for a guy who easily could’ve been a dependable hand for midcard division.

    “We Need a Sauce Recommendation”

Do you even get the sauce reference? Its usually if someone wants the source for porn or like a sexual image and they’re like give me the sauce (source).
