I think the rumors of Brock Lesnar not working Summerslam are so laughable. If people really believe that I got some beach front property in Florida to sell you.

Not saying it was the best one ever but to me there were a couple highlights like the first Tag, the Reigns and Bobby Lashley stuff, I get a kick out of Braun Strowman and Kevin Owens, and Dr Shelby showing up again was great.

    • Prophet says:

Not American so forgive me but doesn’t Florida actually have beach front property?

The phrase “I’ve got some beach front property in X” is supposed to be a place that does not have the ocean near it. Thus why it’s a joke.

      • Dmxfury says:

Sums up his comments pretty well actually 😂.

        • Greg says:

It does work. The joke is based on three things:
          1) Land that exists, but is not actually owned by the person
          2) Land that exists, but is actually worthless
          3) Land that doesn’t actually exist

          Jay would fall under #1.

  2. Sebastian Howard says:

I liked the Shield tag match a bit more than you but yeah, this was a horrible chore to sit through. I was hoping we would get something decent from Owens/Strowman but we just got a prop piece deal, lame. Two Roman Reigns matches because THAT’S what the fans really want. Show would’ve been okay if it was like an hour long and Shield/Dolph and Drew was the main.

    • Marky-Marc says:

I’m with you. This company does a lot that makes me roll my eyes. But putting Roman in two matches and I think six segments all together takes the cake.
‘We don’t like Reigns, you shove him down our throats too much.’
‘I know! We’ll put him in two matches!’
      Come on.
Strowman needs to be doing more. Whatever it is, I don’t care. He’s going to be champ soon we should be seeing him more than others. Not just for ten minutes at the end.

  3. Michael Cheyne says:

Raw, way more than Smackdown, has gotten into the tic of “setting up the next PPV” on the first two episodes after the last one, then leaning back and doing really nothing for the month or so before the PPV.

  4. Prophet says:

Correct me if I’m wrong, KB.

As a fan am I supposed to look at this show and think “Wow, this sucked because Lesnar is holding the title hostage and doesn’t want to show up to work. I like Reigns because he is here this week and sure his segments sucked but it’s because Lesnar isn’t here that’s making the show suck.”

I’m supposed to think these shows are bad and that’s Lesnar’s fault so we should support Reigns since he wants the title back from Lesnar which would in turn make the shows better. Right?

    • Thomas Hall says:

I’m going with Tallahassee, Florida. Am I right?

    • Sebastian Howard says:

Prophet you’re being crazy dude, all he’s saying is that without a champion the show loses a lot of urgency and there’s nothing for the top guys to actually do but float around.

      • BestSportsEntertainer says:

That’s what WWE wants us to think.

Lesnar is only keeping the belt so long because WWE thinks that will make us cheer Reigns when he FINALLY wins the title. Lesnar is the evil part-timer while Reigns is the guy who shows up every week.

The problem is 90% of the roster shows up every week, so it doesn’t distinguish Reigns in any way. And both wrestlers can be booed. It’s not like one has to be cheered.

  5. Greg says:

Ember Moon is going to screw up her back doing that move. She needs to stop.
