Ronda Rousey Leaving WWE After Wrestlemania XXXV?

Basically she wants to go and have kids, which has been known for a long time. If that ‘s the case, as much of a fan as I am of her, this would only make her legacy that much stronger. She came in, was awesome and a big surprise, and then left, possibly after main eventing Wrestlemania. It’s like a one year accelerated Brock Lesnar course and it wouldn’t shock me to see her come back. Now though, the Wrestlemania match NEEDS to be a triple threat just to avoid having the ending be obvious. I’ll miss Rousey, but if this is what she wants to do, good for her.
PwInsider reached out to WWE, who confirmed she is under contract through April 2021. So even if her in ring matches dwindle she will still likely be involved somehow
Fair enough. I’d be curious to know if that guarantees she’ll be in the ring and not doing something else for the company.
I can see her doing promotional stuff, maybe wrestling the big 4 or something

Rousey has horrible striking and was trained by the worst boxing coach MMA has ever seen.
I do remember her fight with Nunes being confusing. She’s a world class performer in a grappling style and decides to throw fists with a boxer. I’m not a big MMA guy but that seemed very, very stupid.
Oh, she was done WAY before then.
It’s well documented that her mum didn’t come to Australia for the Rousey/Holm fight because she was certain her daughter was losing because her coach is the dumbest man alive.
Rousey has never recovered from her loss to Holm. As recently as last year you can see her on ESPN getting angry when they mentioned it on First Take.
She throws a believable enough “wrestling punch”. Certainly better than Shane.
Rhonda should leave WWE undefeated….no one has ever done that I think….set up a tournament for Becky to win following Mania…everyone loses when they leave and I understand why but it doesn’t hurt to be different and unpredictable either. Then when she does return (and she will) she has the claim of never been pinned or submitted.
I was really hoping to see Becky v Ronda 1v1, but the triple threat does seem to be the way to go. Unless they give us the 4-on-4 to get the Horsewomen done before she isn’t around.
