Very touching piece. Reminds me of my grandmother who was a MASSIVE fan. We’d go to the local shows and watch Smackdown every Smackdown when it aired locally. She would always get furious at heels cheating and Spanish commentator Marcelo Rodriguez. Even when I explain kayfabe to her, she would still get mad.
I would’ve loved to sit with her (and Granpa) to watch the gigantic slew of shows that have become available in the past 5 years. Sadly, Hurricane Maria took her away last year.
Wow, that was a really amazing and moving article. I have been reading your reviews for about 7 years now (starting back from WZ Forums) and would like to thank you for all the amazing work. I may not always agree with your ratings, but I always read your reviews after any new PPV I watch.
Thanks for sharing those memories.
My grandfather got me into wrestling when I was pretty much a baby and I was super close with him so when he passed a couple years back I was crushed.
I’ll always remember watching Looney Tunes with him on a Saturday morning and then Superstars right after.
Good times that will stay with me forever.

Great article, thanks a lot!
Very emotional article. I’m not an emotional person usually but I shed a tear. Once again I’m sorry for your loss.
