Good article KB and I agree 100%. I just could not imagine Demolition losing clean 2 weeks in a row….or Mr. Perfect when he was IC champ….and WWE Champion? never….could you imagine Hogan losing as much as Daniel Bryan? and to Kofi Kingston of all people. I know he is very popular and on a hot streak right now, but at the end of the day he is a comedy character. It’s like Santino taking on John Cena at Mania or Hogan vs. Koko B. Ware..lol but alas I understand it is a different time and the WWE Championship isn’t as prestigious as times past and doesn’t seem to mean as much anymore.
Kofi is a very, very different kind of wrestler than Santino. That’s not a fair comparison.
Yes I agree as an athletic performer he is much different BUT don’t you think to be in a WrestleMania main event caliber match for the WWE championship, shouldn’t he separate himself from the silliness of the New Day and their pancakes? At least until he wins the title.
Yeah he should. It’s not working in that regard, but Kofi on his own is more than acceptable.
