I haven’t enjoyed WWE in quite some time and was more entertained by Wrestle Kingdom and Double or Nothing than anything they have put out minus Takeovers.

It’s definitely been far worse before, but I can’t remember when it’s just been so dull and a chore to get through. Maybe lack of interesting people at the top of the company?

My guess is the 3 hours. There is no way with a split roster to sustain that. It requires matches to be overdone and a whole host of other problems. They need to get rid of it.

      • Undying says:

Oh I agree completely. I was dreading the split when it was announced. After it happened then we got Owens/Jericho vs Rollins/Reigns in some combo every single week and the same thing happened with Sasha/Charlotte and Styles/Ambrose. This went on from like Summerslam to the Rumble.

I get building a rivalry and story but there are better ways to go about that then repeatedly having them fight each other. How many times did Nakamura and Joe get beat by Styles last year like 5 times each?

Wait, isn’t Lesnar advertised for Super Showdown?
Anybody have a clue what he’ll be doing there?
Also, this show was hot garbage and the one guy here who says it isn’t is either a McMahon or on some good drugs.

    • BestSportsEntertainer says:

“Which McMahon is Jay H?” is a better story than anything WWE has at the moment.

    • Jay H says:

No I actually just try and enjoy it for what it is and not nitpick like you idiots do all the time.

      • Dmxfury says:

It’s not nitpicking, it’s valuing our time and knowing what the company is capable of. The product has become garbage and to blindly still accept and praise is just sad

        • Jay H says:

So every PPV has been garbage this year? And yeah it is nitpicking.

          • Dmxfury says:

Who said that? There has been some bright spots. There were bright spots in 93/94 as well while the overall product was garbage. But yeah, EVERYONE commenting is wrong and nitpicking while you are correct 😂

          • Jay H says:

Never said everyone was wrong but if we are comparing this year to 1993/1994 that’s bit of a stretch. Big difference between then and now is half the Company don’t have ridiculous gimmicks attached to them as they did then.

          • BestSportsEntertainer says:

You like the product, and that’s fine. I personally don’t but to each their own.

However if you honestly can’t see why other people wouldn’t like the product, then you’re delusional.

You’re too nice to this episode, KB. The timing of WWE laying an egg like this makes it even worse. This isn’t WCW, or TNA, or even ECW on TNN. This is 1994 WWF, where you get a decent main event (Seth is Bret in this scenario) and everything else is being thrown to the wall with no purpose and see what sticks. Spoiler: None of it does

  4. Malcolm says:

Jeez, this company feeds us a plate of shit and expect us to enjoy the taste of it

  5. BestSportsEntertainer says:

This may have been the worst episode I’ve ever seen, and that’s no exaggeration.

Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin are the two World Title contenders. Seriously. On a roster with Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, Sami Zayn, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Rusev.

WWE isn’t for me. I’m sure people out there are enjoying it, but I’m definitely not and haven’t for a while. Any company who thinks Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, and Shane McMahon should be the top heels is one that I won’t watch and support.

    • Shawn says:

That’s the true-est shit I’ve heard in a while. Dolph makes me want to turn off my TV more than Corbin tbh

  6. Mike M. says:

Ricochet and Cesaro are tied 1-1. Time for one of them to show physical dominance.

  7. Jay H says:

I mean from Brock Lesnar being the most entertaining he’s been in a while, Riochet/Cesaro, Sami Zayn/Seth Rollins plus Sami dropping an AEW reference, the Dolph/New Day brawl, the 4 Way (minus the confusion of it being elimination announced) I thought it was one of the better Holiday Shows but what do i know.

    • BestSportsEntertainer says:

You can’t say anything positive about Double or Nothing but you can about last night’s Raw?

      • Jay H says:

I can’t say anything positive about Double Or Nothing? Ok from what I saw of it it was good. That good enough for you or do you need more to appease your feelings?

    • Shawn says:

Sami / Rollins was horrible. This was one of the worst shows I’ve seen in quite a while
