I especially agree with the notions of Big E having something. When I heard all this hype for Keith Lee heading to NXT and how good he was for a big man, how charismatic and all that, I couldn’t help but think that WWE already had a big, athletic, charismatic black guy in Big E. Not that I don’t enjoy Lee and, to be fair, maybe I haven’t really seen all of what he brings to the table, which is possible, but Big E is someone that I believe could be a major singles player for WWE down the road. He’s a legit powerhouse, he’s especially athletic for a near 300 pounder and just has a natural charisma that you either have or you don’t.

The shows have been good enough for the last few weeks but when i see a live thread for the show all i see are people complaining about it.

I don’t ever see a positive comment during any live thread and don’t understand whether it’s people really not liking the show or whether they just like to put negative comments because it’s easier and more fun as i see mostly the same people doing it week after week.

Alas it’s the latter. I’m certainly guilty of it as well but sometimes the shows just are not good.

I honestly just think people and most Wrestling fans are just miserable in general so they try and make everyone else around them the same way. Hence why i stay off a good bit of the Live Discussion Threads during the Shows.

That being said a pretty strong Smackdown again. I dug both KOTR Matches, Bayley/Lacey was actually pretty good as was Randy Orton/Big E, and the next cliffhanger ending.

      • Rahul says:

That’s true. I personally see 5-6 comments and move off the thread.

Lets hope the shows continue to be good

I think it’s mostly that people have no trust whatsoever that WWE is going to keep this up. They’ve been on such a long role of bad booking and bad shows and a good show once or twice isn’t going to change that. Wrestling is more then seperate shows. What good is one good show if the payoff is always a letdown? If WWE wants to win back those fans they’ll have to keep up the quality for a long period of time. Not just a few weeks.
I’m speaking for myself of course but looking at those live threads and other comments I think this is the general feeling.
