I feel like Drew McIntyre has been a real victim of this scheduling. I like the segments they’ve been doing of him, but I’d like to see him in the ring too. I assume he’s in the main event at WM this year(Brock isn’t sitting that out two years in a row) and yet he has no match for Super Showdown and nothing looming for Elimination Chamber. It would be nice to see him rack up some wins. Doing just a bit of fantasy booking, if they were bringing the Big Show back, they could have built up a mini-program between him and Drew. Big Show interrupts his promo “You might have eliminated Brock from the Rumble but it’s a whole lot different 1-on-1. If you can’t get me, you can’t get past Brock…blah, blah, blah) and the fight at Showdown or Chamber. It’s not going to set the world on fire, but it gives Drew something to do. Plus, him putting Big Show down with the Claymore would be a good visual. They don’t have time to do that though because as you pointed out they have too much going on and the attention span of a coked-up hummingbird.
