Underground can be a decent conecpt if they change a few things but as it was presented last night it came off as dorced and cheesy. If it’s supposed to have a gritty feel, do away with the 9000 camera cuts every 2 minutes. The dancers weren’t necessary, I get they’re supposed to add to the “edgy” aspect but it’s just tacky and cringe. They also need to work on the worked elements of the fighting, it was too obvious and it made things look hokey. I sound like I’m bashing the tar out of this but I do like the idea of it, it needs better execution.

What’s the first rule of Fight Club? You do not talk about Fight Club.

Yeah, I definitely agree that there was a lot of just trying stuff to see if anything works on last night’s show. However, they’re thinking outside the box and I give ’em credit for that. MAYBE it could be an interesting way of introducing fans to some fresh talent? That big guy with the dreds, can’t remember his name, but Shane said he weighed about 340 lbs. or something came off looking like a real badass as he was big, strong and really fast.

Last night’s show was also more about moving stuff along for SummerSlam and future episodes of Raw, which is fine as you need those shows sometimes.

Extremely good work from McIntyre last night. I don’t know how much of what was said was scripted but if it was scripted, it came off in a really organic way. That organic feel, that intensity, that depth of feeling is a HUGE reason why feuding with Orton over the course of this year has been such a treat to watch and is exactly what WWE needs more of in other programs.

Who was the faction that debuted?

The masked people who blew things up. That’s kind of a stretch based on how they announced it in the preview.
