I honestly don’t know how NXT hasn’t won more of the Wednesday Night Ratings Battles especially when they can churn out Shows like this week.

A much needed win for Timothy Thatcher in the Fight Pit, i feel he’s needed a big win for a while. Also a couple of a surprises in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic and that move Kacy pulled off was Seth Rollins/Ricochet like.

Honestly i find NXT to be the better show compared to AEW but the presentation & environment of AEW feels bigger which i feel becomes a factor since AEW feels entertaining due to the showcase element if that makes sense.

“Can” churn. They’re absolutely capable of regularly putting out solid, entertaining shows like the one this week. They don’t always, or even regularly, do that as of late. The tournaments are helping a good bit right now though.

    Hi KB,

NXT has constantly B or A grades in your review but you have been mentioning like it has gone down in the reviews.

Do you think it is because of high standards of earlier NXT years or do you think because of AEW that flavor has gone down for NXT where they used to use unknown or not so popular hirings just for a match which now which still happens sometimes

It’s the former. NXT was the best wrestling show in years at one hour and now it’s much longer with a weaker creative direction. I don’t enjoy it as much as I did and the two hour change was when everything started going the other way.
